Intense ruby red, with aromas of plum jam and ripe cherry and slight hints of grapefruit. Elegant and finely tannic, on the palate it confirms its softness and long, sustained texture.
Why we like it
Made from selected grapes from the San Martino and La Rosa vineyards, macerated for about 12 days at a controlled temperature with the foot of indigenous yeasts in steel and wood. Followed by 18 months of ageing in medium toasted tonneaux.
Ideal with game dishes and wild boar stew. Also perfect with grilled meat and the typical Florentine steak.
